HIGHLY ANTICIPATED ASSAULT HEROES™ 2 TO EXPLODE ONTO XBOX LIVE® ARCADE
Sequel to Award-Winning Arcade Shooter Reloads with New Features this Spring
Los Angeles, CA - 03/17/2008 - Lock and load! Sierra Online will soon unleash Assault Heroes™ 2, the sequel to IGN.com's 2006 Xbox LIVE® Arcade game of the year, for Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Re-imagined for an even more intense arcade shooter experience, the Assault Heroes 2 game expands its horizons into outer space. New features include hi-jackable enemy vehicles, many more levels and an enhanced co-operative gameplay mode.
"Assault Heroes was a resounding success so making the sequel even more phenomenal was a tall order," said Nicole Perez, vice president of marketing, Sierra Online. "The developer, Wanako, took on that challenge and have crafted the ultimate arcade shooter experience."
Just when mankind thought the world was safe, the Assault Heroes are called back into action to once again save the planet from a sinister alien race in Assault Heroes 2. With a bigger and more powerful arsenal of weapons, players will be fully equipped to take out waves of fierce enemy foes and unbelievable bosses for many hours of destruction. Battles will also get up close and personal with more on-foot action in intense close-quarters firefights. Whether attacking on foot or piloting all-new spacecrafts, players will enjoy optimum mobility in the most dangerous situations.
Developed by Wanako Studios, the Assault Heroes 2 game will be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system this Spring.
