PROTOTYPE™ WEBSITE RESPONSIBLE

Sierra Entertainment Launches Full Prototype™ Website Featuring New, Exclusive Content

Los Angeles, CA - April 08, 2008 - A new viral outbreak has taken over the internet with the launch of Sierra Entertainment's Prototype™ website. Gamers can now go online at www.prototypegame.com and consume the ever-evolving compilation of in-depth game information and assets hidden within Prototype's unique Double-Helix DNA Strand.

Prototype is shrouded in a deep, dark conspiracy 40 years in the making, and the Helix offers intrepid - and persistent - gamers the potential to unravel pieces of the game's back-story known as the 'Web of Intrigue' via discovering [codes] hidden throughout a complex maze of media. By entering the correct code sequences, Prototype fans can immediately unlock and access exclusive new assets, including fresh screenshots, videos and other mysterious images; and as the Helix evolves, new code sequences will become active. Code sequences will be concealed within print, online and broadcast/television preview features, along with a myriad of other mediums through the end of the year.

Unearth the codes and make it back to the Prototype website safely, and unlock the Helix to discover what lies beyond the edge of evolution. Prototype is planned to release this fall for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the PC, and is currently rated "RP" (Rating Pending) by the ESRB. For more information, be sure to visit the official game website located at www.prototypegame.com.

About the Double-Helix DNA Strand
Code sequences will be concealed within [announcements] such as this, emails, print, online ads, TV, and other mediums. When you find a [code], go to the Prototype website and click the Helix to activate it, allowing you to resequence the DNA. To resequence, move the sliders up or down to select 2 base pairs. Click "SWITCH" once the correct pairs are selected and unlock a piece of the 'Web of Intrigue' held within that DNA sequence. Some content may be hidden even deeper and may require more [intricate] [codes] for further resequencing. The pieces locked within the Helix are countless. Each time a new piece is unlocked the grided bar along the right border will announce "new content unlocked," allowing you to track the pieces of the puzzle you've uncovered and which pieces you'll need to find next.
