5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome PackVerified Buyer Reviewed by MidwestHiker from Chicagoland on Wednesday, October 9, 2019Incredibly comfortable and more features than many packs with a much higher cost. Sneaky lightweight relative to the load rating and feature content as well. Highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great, but...Verified Buyer Reviewed by RBMilli from JMT Mostly on Thursday, September 5, 2019This pack is awesome, feature rich, relatively light for all the features and well made. Unfortunately I come from the Gregory Baltoro, which has an amazing suspension system that lets the pack move (cant) without dragging you around and I need to carry more weight than comfortable on this packs suspension.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great design and perfect fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by A-A-ron - some bozo from Texas on Saturday, August 3, 2019I got this pack for the 4 day Inca Trail Trek and it was perfect! It was my first multi-day hike since I was a kid, so I had the luxury of a porter to help with some of my load. For that reason, the 55L capacity was probably more than I needed. After that experience, and for a seasoned trekker, I'm sure this pack could fit carry all that is needed for a similar trip, as long as conditions aren't too extreme.
After doing research, and trying some packs out at local retailers, I figured I was between a S/M size. The M was all that was available at the time of purchase, so I rolled the dice. Jackpot! The fit couldn't be more comfortable. The weight of the pack (20-25lbs) didn't wear me down at all throughout the week. I really enjoyed the dual access to the main compartment, the extra outer stashes, and the break-away day pack. Some will say the day pack is just a waste of space, but it came in extremely handy for my use. When in the pack, I just put my water resevoir in there to mitigate any minor leakage. I think there is just the right amount of loops and straps to customize the ease of carrying any add-ons that don't need to be stowed (i.e. trekking poles).
All in all, I feel like I was every bit as pleased, if not more, than many of my travel companions who were also on their first packs. None of which were Gregory packs. I only wish the 65L version was available, otherwise I'd be sure this will be the last pack I buy for some time! In short: Gregory [...]!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Lots of featuresVerified Buyer Reviewed by El Presidente from Lake Tahoe on Wednesday, July 31, 2019Got this for my Pacific Crest Trail son.
He figured best function for all the pockets and zippers...with the help of Y-tube.
Internal frame is the only way to go. Breathability is superior.
Most important is weight distribution. Haven’t had the chance to test yet.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable, multiple compartments, easy to organizeVerified Buyer Reviewed by RVB from Utah on Monday, July 8, 2019My teenage son used this on a 3-day trip. Fit all his gear, tent and food. Straps were adjustable, the back mesh helped him stay cool. I like the different pockets and compartment. The big size pocket that fits a nalgene was nice and the back stretchy pocket made it easy to access some small things like the map and snacks.
We didn't use the day pack. It's very lightweight, but nice to have.
The rain cover kept his back dry through an afternoon thunderstorm.
The only issue was we could not figure out a torso length adjustment (I did not read to see if it has one) and would have liked a slightly smaller adjustment for my son. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Very comfortable pack with lots of features!Reviewed by Fly-Phisher from Southern US on Sunday, June 16, 2019I recently did the Buffalo River Trail as a shakedown run for some new gear. The pack was easy to adjust, the mesh kept your back cool, and the large front pocket and side pockets were great for things you needed easy access to. The suspension handled the weight very well. I was also able to strip the pack down to just under 3lbs for the size M with removing the lid, summit pack, and some extra webbing. The included rainfly worked well in heavy rain for several hours. So far, very happy with the pack.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great packVerified Buyer Reviewed by Wayne the hiker from Idaho on Wednesday, May 15, 2019Great pack! Well built! I bought one like this for my daughter to travel overseas. Worked great for her. Held up perfectly. The best part is the mesh back that holds the bulk of the pack away from your back to prevent sweating. Hard to go wrong with Gregory packs.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Last years modelVerified Buyer Reviewed by Back in the sport from Earth on Thursday, April 25, 2019My son will try this out for the first time this wkend. No issues out of the box. Took me a lot of effort to tell this was last years model. No problem but could have been more in the description. A little slow on order fulfillment to UPS then very slow on updating shipping info. Not sure if this was Sierra, or UPS. This was better on my other item in the order

5.0 out of 5 stars. Gregory Zulu 55Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rod from Idaho on Monday, July 2, 2018Just took this backpacking since I got it. I loved this pack! Plenty of room. Lots of straps to strap on gear. I used the smaller knapsack for carrying cooking gear around. Great features, fits comfortably and really light weight.

5.0 out of 5 stars. So Far soooo GOODVerified Buyer Reviewed by h from CA on Tuesday, February 20, 2018Just got it and have only hiked fifteen miles or so, out in Joshua Tree, but so far so good. Great access to the pack from multiple pockets, full size side pockets are great, will fit 1.5 liter nalgene. I know, rad. The bladder compartment it removable summit bag. small but nice. even holds your ice axes...bonus.
