1.0 out of 5 stars. fragile racquets, buy something else.Reviewed by not a gorilla from Minnesota on Saturday, August 12, 2023After less than 15 minutes of it's first use, the racquet broke in my wife's hand while returning a ball. We are not gorillas. we were just trying to get the ball over the net to get a feel for the game. The box it comes in says this is the PRO SERIES. It also states "durable wooden construction withstands the most powerful shots." They imply but don't actually say that their racquets are made that way. Looking at the exposed throat where the racquet head split off the handle, it looks like compressed cardboard with a wood shell. the grips are very comfortable.

1.0 out of 5 stars. fragile fiberboard racquetsReviewed by not a gorilla from Minnesota on Saturday, August 12, 2023we purchased a Cipton starter set that on the box claims "durable wooden construction withstands the most powerful shots."
When we tried playing for the first time today my wife's racquet broke in her hand while returning a shot. the exposed throat of the racquet where it busted is made of fiberboard/pressed paper. My wife is not a gorilla. We were not trying to hit hard, just lobbing back and forth to get a feel for the game. We had played for at most 15 minutes when this happened.
I would be skeptical of any claims this company makes. on the positive, side the grips are very comfortable.
