He thought they were super cool right out of the box. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star rating is due to the "sock" style insole. The mouth of the sock is really small and needs some stretching out before feet slide in easily. We have eventually worked our way to the point it no longer takes two people to put on his shoes. Me pulling and him pushing. But other than that, good sneaker.
