I am a solid 9/40 in nearly every shoe (39 in Dansko), and had to size up to the 9.5 in this one. I wore the 9 for a few days, and decided it was just too tight at the strap and the heel/length. The 9.5 is perfect, and it's a really fun flat shoe.
