Closeouts. Ahnu's Montara hiking boots are made for hitting the trail and traveling off the beaten track. The eVent® waterproof leather and fabric upper is comfortably cushioned and reinforced at the toe and heel. A dual-density EVA midsole and TPU shank promise support and stability, and the lugged Vibram® rubber outsole ensures all-terrain traction.

They are super comfortable, long lasting, and keep feet dry. Can even get a bit too warm after a while on long hikes. Beautiful boots, but the fine suede-like leather does get fairly drab looking the more you get the wet, and changes the coloring when protectant or waterproofing solutions are used. Still the best hiking boots I’ve ever worn.
One shoe of this particular pair was a little defective (unevenly distributed and sewn) where the vinyl meets the leather over the toe, but I didn’t notice until after I had recycled the box. Unfortunate, as I would have return them for a replacement. Wondering if perhaps that is why they are so cheap... factory rejects? They will look a little wonky, but I am hoping will serve their purpose. -

The fit is true to size and I would advise if you like to wear thick socks, maybe size up a half size. I have worn them to walk in the woods everyday for the past week and they’re already nicely broken in. They look cool too. I have had many compliments on them!
