These in 10's let me slip them on easily. Without socks they are a little loose, but so not slip off. With light low socks are easy to slip on as well. I'm looking for them in another color! I like a wider toe box, so the 10's work for me. I think a 9.5 would be fine too. Definitely suggest buying.
