They're comfortable from the first wear! I wish the back straps were able to be adjusted even more, they seem to only have about a half inch for adjustment, but it fits true to size and the top straps are fine. Can't wait to use these in the summer time for lots of stuff. Walking, light hikes, biking, beaching...
