5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Jacket!!!! Not my First....

First, you guys saying its too big, it's a Carhartt. All Carhartts are sized for working mens movement and so they don't ride up when you are in movement. I'm 6'-3" and 230 lbs. Size XL tall is great. I can move in it, layer under it, and its warm even though a little loose. The arms are long enough to ride my harley with 14" apes. I have many Carhartt items and they are made slightly oversized for a reason. If you are the type to pay somebody else to swing a hammer or change your oil then you don't really need a Carhartt. Great clothing... Wish Sierra carried some of their camo stuff...

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice jacket!

Size L fits me well 5’-11” 46” chest. Don’t know about the reviews where guys complained it didn’t cover their navels, no problem there but I guess everybodys different. Looks good, warm down to single digits. Not giving it five stars because I’m not a robot.

Great jacket, fit, workmanship and materials are excellent. Only one complaint is the zipper. Carhartt has always had a problem with their zippers. I'm on my 7th or 8th jacket and found this to be true with all of them. Only returned one of them because it was totally inoperable. Don't let me steer you away, they are great jackets in every other way, I keep on replacing a Carhartt with another Carhartt.

I've had the Detroit jacket for 26 years now. So, for Christmas I gave this sandstone Detroit jacket to my new son-in-law. He loves it. It's warm with plenty of room for working and keeps the howling wind out.

Superior quality jacket. Last one I purchased was 10 plus years ago and is still in good shape...just decided I wanted a different color option, and could not pass up the price. Fit is what I expected.

About Carhartt

During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit.
