The lining feels warm, but I haven't had really cold weather yet to test it. The sleeves have cuffs to hold in heat, the zipper feels like it will last. I like the purple color. The jacket looks nice too.

I am familiar with Carhartt and consistently buy jackets and sweatshirt when I need one. This one did not disappoint me. Got an XL, little small to zip but it was to replace a sweatshirt that I where with multiple layers underneath. Love the color. Nice style. Like all the pockets.

I typically wear a medium, but depending on the brand I also sometimes wear a small and a large, but was unsure from the reviews if I should order a medium or small since a lot of people said it runs big. I am 5'4" and weigh around 145 pounds and am slightly apple shaped. I ordered the medium and am glad I did that instead of the small...the medium fits great and there is room for some layers underneath. The front of the coat hits mid-hip bone and the back of the coat hits just above the bottom of my behind so nice coverage. I also love the cuffed sleeve under the actual sleeve. Although this is an irregular/second I couldn't find much of a defect on it other than the stitching around one of the pockets was a little different from the others. But being that the thread for the stitch is the same color as the jacket it's not noticeable from a distance; only on close inspection. Love the coat and love the price, especially compared to regular retail.
