4.0 out of 5 stars. Easy to use - Size up for more glideReviewed by . from Yellowstone National Park on Sunday, February 2, 2020These skis were easy to use but definitely made for a beginner. The ski is wide enough for balance yet still fit in groomed tracks. They did well going on slight uphills as well as straight downhill terrain, for a more controlled feel. I've cross-country skied a few times and I found these to have less glide than I'm used to. I purchased the 177 and I'm 5'4" 130 lbs. I didn't glide much and the tips are raised so it seems I lost a bit of length because of that, so I returned for a taller ski. Now, I can glide much better.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great intro all-around skisReviewed by KimberWolf from Duluth on Saturday, January 25, 2020I bought this package last year as an inexpensive way to get out nordic skiing and I've loved them. Since they're kind of an all-around ski, you won't be the greatest, fastest person whether on groomed trails or backcountry, but I do both with mine and have a great time. There's a limit to how much powder they can tackle, which you'll find if you live somewhere exceptionally snowy like I do. Biggest drawback is that you don't get to choose which size pole you get, so I've been making do with the pair that came with that are patently too long for me.
