It is not very thick though so makes a nice lightweight cover when reading or watching TV. I bought two in the log style as we have a log home and I like the pop of red color in the blankets. The leaves are not as varied or scattered looking as the photo and don't overlap. It's mostly a cream colored fleece blanket. I have another of these and I know they wash well, so I'm not worried about how dirty it will end up getting.
