5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect travel shoe

If you're concerned about what to wear for a European trip that involves a lot of walking these might be for you. Shoe wear is more relaxed in Europe now and you will see locals wearing sneaker type shoes a lot more than even 5 years ago. As long as they're quality, which these are. They looked great with jeans and even my travel skirt. I blended right in which is what I was hoping. No blisters or hot spots and I didn't have a chance to break them in beforehand.
Sizing does run long. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 but I got a 39 in these and they're perfect. I have quite a narrow foot so I put in the Dr. Scholls Ultra Air-Pillow insole, taking a spare pair so I could do quick washes of them after a day or two. The insoles also help to fill out the shoe seeing as how there aren't laces to cinch up.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoe! But watch size!

I love this brand, and bought a couple of pairs of Ecco shoes. However, I’m a solid size 8. I bought the “8-8.5” size both times and they are ALWAYS too big by a whole shoe size. I returned one pair and they didn’t have a smaller size, so I missed out on that color/shoe. Later, I ordered some leather kicks and they are also too big by a whole size, but I kept them make them work, although not ideal. A different color tennis shoe came up in the pair I sent back so I ordered the 7-7.5 size and it is PERFECT. All in all, this BRAND runs LARGE! Get a size down!

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Longer than my other ECCO

You may consider sizing down one size. They do not look wide but the strips do not keep them safely on my long and narrow feet and I am afraid I might step out of them.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Long

I'm a size 7 - euro 37, 37.5 or 38 depending on the shoe. I ordered the 37 and it's too long, no 36 available, so sadly I cannot have these.

I really like my shoes. They are a little large but wearing with socks they will be fine. I bought them for walking on a 50th anniversary dream trip and I think they will be just perfect. Great price.
