1.0 out of 5 stars. Runs short and narrowReviewed by Not-so-bigfoot from California on Saturday, August 1, 2026About 6 months ago I bought regular size 8 of an older model inov-8 (270G) on Sierra - they fit, but we're snug at the toes for my somewhat wide (D) feet. So when I saw the brand back again with newer models in wide widths I gave it a shot and bought these in 8 Wide. The width is the same or possibly a bit more snug than my 270G size 8, but it feels a hair shorter with pressure on my toes from the front. There's also padding on the tongue and the ankle padding is a different shape that's worse for me. What I like about the 270G was how flexible the sole was, and a good balance of cushy with plenty of ground feel - the Max looses the flexibility due to the thicker sole and has a pronounced toe spring. I will be returning these.
