Maybe I'm not used to heels - and these are "big girl" shoes for me - usually I wear flats. but If you're gonna keep your seat mainly, they're a good buy.

I had to go up a half size, which never happens for me. Also, the material comes up a so high on my ankle bones (inside and out) that I had to wear bandaids to keep from getting blisters rubbed.

I ordered a pair in each color (1 black and 1 brown). I preferred the look of the brown so kept that one and returned the black. I would have kept both but just didn't need the other. I would say that the zipper might rub a bit but one could always remedy that with a moleskin or some other small fabric piece to help the rubbing. The soles are very grippy so very wearable out and about in fall and winter weather. They look, to me, like a more high end shoe than they probably are and the price was right! I love mine. (:
