5.0 out of 5 stars. Bring this brand backVerified Buyer Reviewed by BENJAMIN from Idaho on Tuesday, October 25, 2016All I can say is quit getting rid of good products stp. I can only hope you bring this product/brand back. Concerned that since the transfer of ownership to tj max the loyal customers that kept stp awesome since their beginning days in Reno will be replaced by your home product demographic.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Mountain House is the BestVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Jackson Hole on Sunday, September 11, 2016MH, in my opinion, is always the best choice for freeze-dried food and Spaghetti w/meat sauce is one of our favorites. Great like it is but for a real gourmet experience mix in 1 table spoon of olive oil, a small amount of dried garlic and a small amount of parmesan cheese before adding the hot water. Wonderful and not to much extra weight.

5.0 out of 5 stars. ExcellentReviewed by JM from NYC on Wednesday, July 6, 2016The best meals (I believe by far) are the Mountain House staples. STP, when adding them as new stock, carries a bunch of them. This one is delicious. Just open, remove the oxygen absorber, flatten the bottom of pouch, add boiling water, stir well and reseal. 10 minutes later a delicious dinner. The price on STP with deal flyer discounts is great. You can get 5 meals for the retail sites 3. The Chili Mac, Pasta Primavera, Chicken Teriyaki, and Beef Stroganoff are all excellent. I've tried a lot of backpacking meals: have constantly tried the more exotic meals by Backpackers Pantry, and I always come back to MH. Mountain House meals are more like home cooked; the meat like a piece of meat you'd add to a dish yourself. Backpackers Pantry's meat is usually tiny diced cubes that don't resemble meat at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Satisfying mealVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Oregon on Sunday, May 8, 2016like all the Mountain House meals I've tried, this is a reliably tasty, satisfying one. some other brands I've tried have really left a lot to be desired. just be sure to follow the directions and let it sit the full time after adding the boiling water.
