Merino wool liner is very comfy and the outer material is lightweight. Very comfortable for working out or running. I found the fit to be fairly slim through the hips, but that's OK because the material has some stretch. Just not quite the same cut as a baggy running short. I normally wear a 6 pant and got these in a M.

These seem like great shorts, but I think they run a bit small. I'm 5'5", 130 pounds, bigger on bottom (lots of squats). I love my Icebreaker underwear in smalls, but these shorts in small were too small! A medium may have worked, and the fabric seems great, but I decided to stick with some other options.
