They are sturdy enough and yet flexible. My feet stayed nice and warm while using them. (I wore a thicker hiking sock with them.) I did as advised and ordered a whole size larger than normal. The fit is perfect! So far, so good!

Unfortunately these boots are very wide through the foot and ankle on me, and I can't tighten enough with the laces. I am female and have an average foot width. I have previously worn women's xc boots...Salomon and Alpina fit me well with a women's last.

The toe box is nice and wide. I normally take a 42/43 size. The 44 fit me well. Can't beat these for the price. Just have to see how they hold up.

Throw a pair of low gaiters on and you've got a 4-wheel drive backcountry XC ski boot. Comfortable, warm, and I've used these with snowshoes and crampons. Need one pair of boots to bag summits in the winter Adirondacks? They work for me!

I have room for two pairs of thick socks. i put them on with the skis in the yard and am standing here waiting for some more snow! So far so good. They are very substantial with good firm padding. All man made materials, so I didn't give it five stars.

After reading other reviews, please do not order your regular size! It is true that you need to order 1 whole size larger. I wear a women's size 8 and ordered a 9. They fit great.

Perfect fir for my Rottefella NNN Touring Auto bindings (standard, not BC). I usually wear size EUR 44 , but on recommendation of others, I ordered size EUR 45 ... the fit is very good. Comfortable, and good stability for classic XC style and downhills. I like the hiking boot style ... I have had problems with out boots that have a zippered covers ... zippers tends to break. The laces are high quality, and using a double knot I had no issues with them loosing. Very good value for the price.

The first boot was way too big so I had to return it and ordered the actual size. It fits length wise but the boot is extremely wide. This is a gift for my husband and I am not sure if I will be returning the second pair or not.

I liked the boot a lot but even with heavy socks I was concerned tha the extra width might cause some problems so I sadly returned them.
