I would not, however, wear them outside for extended periods of time, as they are not warm enough for that purpose. The issue is the zipper and the pulls. The pull on one side broke loose the second time that I wore them. I replaced it with a key ring - much sturdier, but not attractive at all. Within a weak, the other pull had also come off. Yes, they can be put on, which I did, but they pulled off again. Given the low price, I guess I am okay with the purchase, but the pulls were not designed with anything but looks in mind.

These boots are fun, functional, and really wished I'd ordered two: one for dress wear; one for romping through the muck to and from work. Size true: I take a 9; ordered a 9. Can wear with a lightweight ski sock. Have worn with leggings--lots of compliments. The bottom section has the patent-leather look which works well for dressing up or throwing on with jean. They are warm and the fur cropping adds that little extra fun!
