5.0 out of 5 stars. Feather lightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Montana on Monday, May 1, 2017Super light. I wear a size 10 and they fit perfectly with a normal sock. Might be too tight with thick woolies though. If you are a 9.5 and want to wear with thick socks, you might need to size up.

4.0 out of 5 stars. lightweight and waterproof!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from MN on Wednesday, April 12, 2017Very comfortable, I usually wear a 9.5, but ordered a 10 and the fit is good. They are nice and lightweight, while still waterproof. The tread seems very effective and I expect they'll be good boots.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Don't leave home without them.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hilltop Hiker from Arizona on Saturday, March 25, 2017I needed a pair of summer hiking boots and these are great. The soles grip the rock on the trails beautifully while the footbed is comfortable from the very start while being supportive at the same time. Hope they last for years like my last pair.

5.0 out of 5 stars. comfortable and stylish hiking bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by josey from pennsylvania on Thursday, March 9, 2017I bought these boots after first buying the regular capra hiking shoes...same thing only without the ankle support. They were comfortable as soon as i put them on. I have high arches and I really liked the level of arch support. I would say the fit is true to size. I normally wear a 7 or 7 1/2 but usually a 7 1/2 and so I ordered the 7 1/2 and they were a perfect fit. I really like the look of these boots. They don't look as clunky as most hiking boots I have tried on. I have only had them a few weeks so I don't know how well they will wear but they are comfortable and give me good traction walking up rocky slopes.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Real test is ahead.Verified Buyer Reviewed by CherylW from Florida on Tuesday, January 31, 2017I purchased these boots for an upcoming trip to Europe. I'm getting used to the material around my ankles as I have very bony ankles. There is exposed metal plates inside the boots at the top for the last lace fasteners. I hope these don't prove to be a bother.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Merrrell Capra Mid Hiking boots for WomenVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker/Biker from Tucson on Wednesday, November 9, 2016I bought these boots for my girl friend and the sole of one boot came completely unglued with less then fifty miles of use. We contacted Merrell and were told to contact the retailer that we purchased them from. Serra Trading Post would not let us return them because they were used. Buyer beware, these boots are not a bargain when they fall apart and still look new.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable bootVerified Buyer Reviewed by poodlegal from Cali on Sunday, November 6, 2016I've tried the Merrell Moabs (the meshier non waterproof version of this boot) and much preferred the Capra. The Moab was a fairly soft "tennis shoe" feeling boot. The Capra has a more structured supportive feeling. I needed a narrower boot,so am still looking for the perfect boot.Width felt about average.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Mostly goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by LM from CO on Saturday, November 5, 2016It took a while for me to lace these properly, so they were comfortable, and I had to send the first pair back and order the next size up, because I feel they're sized a bit small. In a perfect world, the foot pad would be just a bit wider in front, and narrower at the heel. Ok, the good points: now with the right socks, I've hiked a few miles in these, and they're pretty comfortable, they grip rocks on steep slopes very very well, with good padding, keeping my feet from getting sore. They offer great support, breathe but are still fairly warm, and I look their looks.
