4.0 out of 5 stars. Gregory Amber 60 BacpackVerified Buyer Reviewed by Backpacker from Olympics and Cascades on Saturday, August 25, 2018Love this pack. Love bladder holder that works as very light weight backpack. Used it on my first trip. Comfortable belt and straps. Would award 5 stars except that I wish side pockets were long enough to hold water bottles. Love pockets on belt.

4.0 out of 5 stars. my 2nd backpackVerified Buyer Reviewed by Vicki from California on Friday, June 29, 2018I am 5'1" and my torsos is 16.5 and I chose size S. Like another reviewer stated, the top part kind of block me to allow my head bend backward. The backpack has several good sizes pockets and good to organize your stuff. Since the price is good and I keep it and didn't return.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Broke it in last weekend!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Carrie from Washington on Monday, July 24, 2017I tried on at least 10 packs and the Gregory Amber fit me like a glove. I'm 5'4", 160 lbs, and had no blisters at the end of a 2-day, 20 mile hike on the PCT, loaded down with 30+ lbs of gear. It also has more bells and whistles than other bags, even Osprey. Loved it and would highly recommend!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Lightweight, RoomyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Julia from Wa on Thursday, February 2, 2017I own (and LOVE) the Amber 44L, so when it was time to replace my very well-loved, yet *elderly*, larger Gregory pack (the oooold Jade) I looked to the 60L Gregory Amber. I wear a size S in the 44L, so ordered a size S in the 60L. Unfortunately, the fit was different. The frame of the pack came up too far behind my neck/head, so I was unable to put my head all the way back to look up, as I would if I was climbing a steep section of rock or hard snow. Darn it! So, I exchanged the size S torso for an XS, with the hopes that I could still swing it & the frame would be a little shorter behind my head. Unfortunately, the XS torso length is very, very short. I measure right at about 16", and the XS in the Amber 60L was easily 2" too short for me in the torso. I do wear the size S torso in the Amber 44L, so I think the 60L frame is just a no-go for my body type. The frame did sit a lot lower, though, so if you have a super short torso & are looking for a larger volume (but lightweight) pack--this may be a keeper for you!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Incredibly ComfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Yukon Territory, Canada on Wednesday, August 3, 2016I LOVE this backpack so far!!! I have only used it twice in preparation for an upcoming 6 day hike. Both days I loaded the pack close to 30 pounds and did 10-12 km - up-hill hikes. the pack was comfortable, easily adjustable and convenient for accessing items. It seems well made and I feel I got excellent value for the money. I couldn't be happier with it!

5.0 out of 5 stars. BackpackingReviewed by Mountain Mama from Colorado on Friday, April 29, 2016I recently purchased 2 of the Gregory Amber 60 Backpacks. I have 2 teenage daughters, and this was their first internal frame backpack. We just did a 4 day backpack trip, and the packs were great. They are 5'5" and 5'7" , petite frames and the medium frame fit them both very well, had plenty of adjustment straps to custom fit. They both said they were comfortable to carry, and the packs have a good amount of padding. We did 38 miles. The packs have a lot of space, and several pockets/compartments. The main compartment is a U shaped zipper entry which was nice to be able to access everything easily. There is a removable day pack/water reservoir, which was great for daily excursions. I am so happy with this purchase! Highly recommend this backpack.
