However--I got a great price on them, so it hardly matters if they develop holes in a few months. They are also fun to see on my feet (yes indeed, that is a selling point for me--life is too short for drab socks!), and they're thin, so they're just right for summer wear.

Over the years I have bought many, many of the "Margarita" socks. I think at first because the colors are always so fun. Then over time I have just bought more of them because I seem to wear them all the time. They are the right cushion for my taste, kind of a light cushion. They stay up and don't creep down in my shoe. I can wear them with hiking shoes, casual shoes, and my Keen sandals. They are a good weight for Winter causal, and okay for Summer keeping my feet dry. And who doesn't mind a cute sock when you have take your shoes off? They last forever. I have some 5 and 6 years old going strong. Yep. True!
