4.0 out of 5 stars. HeavyVerified Buyer Reviewed by ShowMe from Missouri on Wednesday, March 2, 2016This is a well made cast iron pot. I have a cast iron skillet that I love, but have to be careful because of the weight. With the volume of this pot, along with it's lid, it is just too heavy for me to safely handle, especially once filled with hot food. If you have strong arms and hands, I highly recommend this.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Almost perfectVerified Buyer Reviewed by RT from SF on Thursday, February 25, 2016Great quality and nice size and color dutch oven. Beef rib stew tasted much better on this dutch oven than on crockpot! There's a little hairline scratch on the lid and some little chips around the bow'ls lip and underside on lid rim which hopefully won't rust as long as dab oil after ea wash - 1 lid w bubble wrap inside it's box while the 2 without the bubble wrap on the lids , not worth the return since got it on a deal , not sure if it's from manufacturing or from shipping since the lid even though inside it's own box moves around ! STP packing / shipping department needs to look into how they
package these fragile items. I ordered 3 and all the boxes were torn off on the side where it sits on the bottom of their big flimsy packaging box-torn off because the lids of the pot which were lose inside it's own box - if it were not iron I'm pretty sure they would have been cracked/broken. Need sturdier box and make sure items not move around like pad the items w lots of the bubble wrap on the bottom specially and all around sides and top as well until they don't have chance to move around
