5.0 out of 5 stars. Exactly what I was looking for

Amazing customer service. I spoke with Gayle via live chat and she was so helpful. My coupon code wasn't working and she provided one that was even better than the one I had and also helped me obtain free shipping as a one time customer courtesy. She also helped me choose between two backpacks. I received it in the mail 2 days after orderin . It arrived exactly as pictured. It's very comfortable on. I'm about 5'5 125 and it adjusts perfectly. It's very comfortable over the waist and chest. I'd definitely recommend. I'll be testing it out hiking this week in Tennessee. It does seem to hold quite a lot of extra supplies. I did extensive research and this is by far the best price for this specific backpack and for its quality. All of their camelbaks were cheaper on this site than on any other- I spend several days looking to make sure I got the best deal and the best backpack. Can't argue getting a $145 dollar backpack for $75. I will definitely use this site again.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Finally a pack that I love

I wanted a real daypack, not a commuter pack. This one is big enough for a field clipboard, cinches well, rides comfortably and is simple to us. The NV back panel functions as designed.

Exceeded expectations. Plenty of room to hold the things you need to hike a 14er in Colorado. Never ran out of water. It was just what I needed. Light and excellent air movement. Price point can't be beat at Sierra trading post. Thank you.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable for long day hikes

I wore this pack to climb San Gorgonio mountain (18 miles, 5500 ft gain) on a warm July day. I needed lots of water -- filled the 3L bladder and put a 24 oz bottle in each of the side packs. There was more than enough room for food, spare clothes, emergency kit. Even with all that water weight, the pack was extremely comfortable and easy to adjust. Loops for trekking poles worked well. My only (very minor) complaint is that there is only one small zip pocket accessible while wearing the pack. It would be nice to have one on each side of the hip strap. But overall this pack is a winner

Bought this for my wife to replace an old Camelbak Rim Runner and she really likes it. Comfortable hip belt to keep load off shoulders and holds plenty of food, drink and other items.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. My Second

I've used this pack for day hikes the last few years. Now, it looks like it's being phased out so I had to buy another before it became unavailable. It's very comfortable (and I'm a small, thin woman with little padding), roomy, like the assortment of pockets and places to put things. My years old pack is barely worn but I'm happy to have another just in case.

About CamelBak

The story behind CamelBak hydration packs started back in 1988 when a guy named Michael Eidson was preparing for the “Hotter’N Hell 100,” a 100-mile summer cycling race in Wichita Falls. Before the event, Michael (an EMT by trade) filled an IV bag with water and stashed it in the back of his jersey. With the tube slung over his shoulder and a clothespin to pinch it closed in between drinks, Michael had unknowingly created the prototype for what would become the CamelBak hydration system. Fast forward more than 25 years, and CamelBak is now the world’s leading hydration pack company, with more than 80 different products, including reservoirs, backpacks, hip packs, CamelBak water bottles, travel mugs and more.
