4.0 out of 5 stars. versatile, high-qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NC on Wednesday, May 18, 2016I love the versatility of this messenger bag! I bought it for travel to use as carry-on luggage. I love that it easily converts to a messenger bag so that I can carry it on as my personal item without being hassled. However, it converts to a backpack with ease with the tucked-in shoulder straps, so it's great for bustling through airports, train stations, etc.
The only reason that I didn't rate it 5-star is because the back of it (where the backpack straps are) is sort of stiff and hard. I'm sure that's for the protection of the laptop, and I don't notice it when carrying this as a messenger bag. It just could have been a bit more comfortable if they'd focused on the mechanics of the backside. Other than that, this is super high-quality. Since I didn't buy it to go hiking or anything, the comfort of the back isn't a big deal. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice for what it isVerified Buyer Reviewed by tfromor from Oregon on Tuesday, February 23, 2016Not quite what I was looking for. I got it because of the padded electronics compartment and hoped it would be suitable for a carry-on bag. It is not as roomy as I want. I wouldn't be able to put toilettries and a clean shirt discreetly at the bottom and cabin amenities (book, headphones, etc) on top.
Also, the zipper is placed for backpack (vertical) orientation, and I would usually use the handle or shoulder strap
