It's true: I've got muscle, but I'm not naturally lean in the lower body, and these shorts emphasize that. But it ain't a fashion show, and I ride alone most of the time anyway. At these prices, I'm glad I bought the shorts.

Training for a century ride and needed another pair of shorts. My only pair are very old PI's that are still in good shape I just needed another spare pair. The elastic bands at the bottom of the short does create a sausage type effect. I didn't like that but I could get over that. The chamois seemed nice - the attack short chamois is too bulky for me. The bigger issue was the elastic seam by the hip area was so tight and without much give it felt like I was going to rip them pulling them on. Once over the hips they were fine but I was afraid after regular use they would be shot. I had the same issue with BOTH the medium and large pairs. The large was definitely too big but the medium was a little too small. I returned both. I ended up going with specialized rbx comp shorts and they fit like my old PI shorts do. Perfection. I put them on and knew right away finally I found the right pair - the price tag however - OUCH.

I am hoping the exchange for a medium will work. Quality seems to be very good, but I would recommend ordering a size up.
