I like knowing that they're organic cotton. And I like the brand. They feel more like a comfortable pair of lightweight canvas cargo pants than jeans. But they do sort of look like jeans. And yet, at least in the green I got them in, which could pass for dark gray if you don't look too hard, they're almost dressy. I got away with wearing them to my job as a massage therapist, and we have a no jeans policy. But they were very comfortable to work in. The only downside compared to conventional jeans is that they don't have that wrinkle-proof quality of denim. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

If there were more colors I would get another pair. They are good for driving or hanging out, as they do not constrict when sitting and they are breathable. I normally wear a 34-inch waist and these fit exactly.

The fabric has considerable stretch, is thinner than typical denim, and fits snugly around the hips and thighs, The lower legs are looser. Basically, it is a men's version of the tight-like pants common for women these days. I spend a lot of time in tights, for running and biking, but I considered these too tights-like for daily use. But, I am over forty -- maybe young guys would feel differently. Anyway, not your usual jeans here.

When I opened it, the rolled up jeans looked like a boys size. After trying them on I was relieved in that they fit great. They look good and are VERY comfortable. That they are made of organic cotton is a big plus for me. When I washed them they did not appear to shrink. So why did I take one star off...it goes back to my first impression. The material is much lighter than most jeans, more of a fashion statement than a work, do everything type jeans. But a half star off would probably be more fair. And I'll say again, very comfortable jeans
