5.0 out of 5 stars. rugged shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tommy from Colorado on Sunday, January 1, 2017Not the lightest shoe you can buy, but man it lasts! I've run ~300 miles on it so far in the rocky mountains, including a lot of miles on rocky technical trails, and no sign of failing!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Impressed with the qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Apks from NC on Tuesday, August 9, 2016Wasn't familiar with the name but took a chance because I do know the vibram sole name. Reviews stated that they run small/narrow. I'm between an 8.5 and 9. The 9 fit well. It is a narrow shoe and I had to work with the laces to get the fit just right.. After a 9 day trip through Yellowstone, I found these shoes to be perfect for trail hiking/running, casual walking, and even played some grass volleyball in them. They are slightly heavy but are well made. Should last a long time.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great trail shoeReviewed by DJ from UT from Utah on Sunday, July 17, 2016I run the trails around Salt Lake City Utah 2x a week and road run 2x a week. most trails rocky and packed dirt that are shared with mountain bikers so there are many sections that become very loose gravel without notice. These shoes work great for all conditions. I really appreciate the underfoot stability and protection. The sole keeps you sure footed and stable. I am a mid foot striker and these shoes keep me there. The heel area is stable and amply cushioned but feels narrow when landing on it in a descent. The shoe is exact Euro Sizing! I wear a Asics US 10 for my road shoes and they fit perfectly, giving me just enough room heel to toe. These are just barely short of that perfect feel, but i would not change it, they fit well in all the right places. Not a 5 because they feel more like a day hiker than a true trail running shoe. I would buy them again for a great all mountain shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars. These remind me of the Montrail Hard Rock 100Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from PHOENIX on Saturday, July 16, 2016Love these shoes. I run on a very rocky and tough surface in the South Mountain Park Phx. These are the closest pair of shoes to the Hard Rocks which are discountined. Soles are really high quality from Vibrum. First pair I ordered ran a bit small. I'm a 11.5 and had to order the 12 after trying them on.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great ProtectionVerified Buyer Reviewed by CONordie from Colorado on Sunday, June 26, 2016My son uses these for Nordic training OD runs. Very protective for the feet and joints. Definitely have an important role in the rotation.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Very narrow shoesReviewed by Anonymous from Nevada on Thursday, June 16, 2016The shoe is very narrow. I have a narrow foot and the last is too narrow for me. Great shoe except for the last. Per Dynafit these are medium width. If these are medium how narrow is a narrow?

4.0 out of 5 stars. Feel pretty solidReviewed by Aditya from Columbus, OH on Sunday, May 1, 2016These shoes feel pretty sturdy and stable. I've not used them on any trails. I mainly bought them because I wanted something with a durable sole. Compared to a normal running shoe the feet seem more stable in these roll-wise.
As another reviewer mentioned though, the sturdiness comes at a price. These shoes are relatively less comfortable. The mesh kinda things on the upper (the kind that looks like an Asics logo) from the lace eyelets to the sole joint are made of some very sturdy material (maybe some nylon threads underneath?). While these are supposed to reinforce the upper and maybe make the toe-box more form-fitting, they can dig into the upper face of your feet sometimes.
Also, these seem to run a size smaller. I generally wear a US12, and ordered the same for this pari, but they were at least a half-size shorter than a pair of Nike running shoes I have. Consequently, the mesh-digging-into feet problem was much worse, and my toes were also a little cramped. I returned them and got a US13, and the fit is much better. Since this whole process costed me about $10 extra and a chunk of my time, I gave this a 4/5.
