LOVE this item - it's a combination of a sweater and a jacket and it's very warm and stylish. It's made from recycled wool so there is a strong, wool-y smell right out of the package, but I machine washed it in cold and dried it on the line and the smell is gone. It's a *tiny* bit itchy around the neck, but I am super sensitive to wool, so I'm not surprised; a soft scarf solved the problem. The fleece inner lining is cloud-soft. I was very pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and well-fitting this wrap is. I am 5'5", 108# and the Medium fits perfectly (just as it looks in the photo) with room for a mid weight layer underneath.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. It has flaws, but I still love it

I'm quite petite (5', 100lbs) and bought the xsmall. It's a little long in the arms, but they look good folded over (matches the color), and slightly large, but not overly so. That said, it's a little fitted in the chest area (and I'm not big!). It's super comfortable and easy to throw on. For me, it is more like a coat, not a sweater, and I can fit a long sleeve underneath, no problem. It's cute and stylish, but the design is a little rough. The inside button causes weird fold over underneath and there is a line since the coat is bulkier than your average wrap, but I've overlooked these issues because it's generally cute and so practical.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Not so awesome.

I've recently become of huge fan of Smartwool and have bought several pairs of their socks and base layers. This was the first time I'd purchased a more fashion-y, daily wear style, and I was not impressed. The wool/fleece/silk blend was feather-light (if you like that style) and very soft, and any breeze blows right through it. I found the button tabs at the shoulder to be far too fussy and, once I tried it on, did not car at all for this 'wrap' sort of style on my body. I returned this.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great sweater but not for petites

I'm actually on the cusp of petite and regular sizes, and I was hoping this darling sweater would work. I love the asymmetrical collar, and it's super warm! The fit was great throughout the body (shoulders, chest, length), but unfortunately, the sleeves are way too long. I wish they had thumb holes--I could have made that work, but I didn't find it worthwhile to try to modify. Otherwise, it would have been a keeper.
