5.0 out of 5 stars. Terrific Light Weight Oxford Version of Traditional Desert BootReviewed by Zauzous, the Clothes Hog from Midwest University Town on Monday, July 18, 2016All the quality and fine touches you associate with Clarks is here. These are like a light weight oxford version of the traditional desert boot, and we grew up in them, slurping* down the sidewalk on hots days as the crepe soles bonded with the pavement. Thoughtful, elegant packaging includes a poster detailing the design history of the "grandfather" of the line, the desert boot. Exact fit. [And what is the sound of a crepe sole sticking to hot pavement? "Slurp" was
as close as I could come to it.]
