I enjoyed the medium thickness of these socks. Very cozy. They do create fusses on the outside after a few washes, but functional overall.

They are so soft, medium thickness (which I like), and keep my feet cozy. It does create fuss balls on the exterior of socks. Hoping with more washing, that will go away.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice wool shortie socks

I always appreciate wool socks. These are a good between-seasons length. Surprisingly thick, as other reviewers have mentioned -- if you want a liner-type sock this isn't for you; but I like some cushioning. Price was right.

I love these. They have a nice feel to them and are just the right thickness for me. Top quality.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
