5.0 out of 5 stars. Love these

Woolrich hasn't let me down yet. I bought these in white/tan and they are so soft and comfortable with plenty of stretch, a treat to put on.
Being a women's size 9 means you're right on the cusp of Smartwool's M and L so neither one is a great fit. These Woolrich socks fit perfectly. I wore these for about 7 miles and they felt good- no annoying seams and the ankles stayed up without being too tight. Have also worn them to work to keep my feet cool in the summer.

Very comfortable midweight wool sock. Been wearing the while hiking in the humid NC woods. Wicks the sweat off my feet keeping them dry and stink free!
Going to put them to the test next month on a 14 day DYI elk hunt! No horses!

I have been really happy with these socks. They are comfortable, and the smart wool is adaptable for the changing temperatures of backpacking trips.

STP markets these socks as crew height.
The pair I received barely hit my ankle bones.
However, the socks are quality & I assume will wash well.
Woolrich's packaging also shows this item as a crew.
    I'm keeping them.

First pair of hiking socks I have bought. We just started hiking this year. Great for those that don't want to spend a fortune on socks.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
