5.0 out of 5 stars. Better and Darker Blue Ink than screen looks
Reviewed by Anonymous from Taiwan on Thursday, December 22, 2016
I'm 172cm 72kg chest 37.8"(96cm).

Prons: Darker Blue Ink than screen demo looks more attractive. It's thiner aslike polartec classic 100~200, so it's light weight , and its characteristic is very similiar to my MHW Tucana knit Jacket by polartec thermo pro. Very breathable, light, and fast warming.

Cons: Berber fleece is not so soft as description, but seems would be durable after machine wash. Anyway, you would not feel ichy. A little bit loosen on arm and chest when only wearing summer shirts.

Conclusion: Casual, practical, classic looks for most situations.

PS: I can't find relative information on Marmot Website except STP.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great hoodie. Warm and cozy.

This is a very nice, slim fitting jacket. The lining makes it especially warm and inviting to wear on a chilly day. It also makes the sleeves a little tight, so you can't wear anything bulky under this or the sleeves might feel tight an bind. Slim fitting through the torso. I am 6'1" and 190 lbs, and the large fits me perfectly. It is a little heavier than the Better Sweater made by Patagonia.

This jacket looks really awesome. It is an athletic fit, not a slim fit. I’ve compared it to some of the other jackets out there, and it looks really nice. The outside is just dressy enough to wear out without looking too casual. It is warm enough to wear as a standalone on cool days, or as a mid layer under a shell for really cold days. Worth every penny!

Great sweatshirt. I wanted something that looked a little nicer than my typical hoodies and this works great. Looks great and very warm.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
