They are lightweight, well constructed, and with aggressive soles. Be aware that they tend to run small so I went up a half size. Great fit and comfortable with all the support that I need. As far as the waterproofing, that has not been tested yet by me. I will know more when our Oregon spring wild turkey opens!

I wear steel toe Red Wing work boots daily throughout the workweek in size 11.5. I ordered these in 11.5 EE and I can't get them on with very thin cotton socks. Boots are very well designed and look great but if you don't try them on before your purchase you are going to have issues.

I guess if they happen to fit the shape of your feet you'll like them, but I wish I would have returned mine. Instead, I thought they might break in and I wore them on a 3 day archery deer hunt. They remained very uncomfortable, especially the right boot, which doesn't seem to be a match to the left one, and I got a blister on the side of my big toe on the right foot due to the shape and stiffness of the wrap-around rubber toe cap. I'll take the loss and donate these to Goodwill. If you are considering buying them TRY THEM ON BEFOREHAND and know what you're buying.

The sizing is a bit peculiar, though. I had to exchange my usual size 8 1/2 D for a 9 EE for them to fit.
