After a snow last night I had a chance to try them out for the first time this morning. It was 1 degree f. this morning went I went out to shovel I was out for a couple hours and my feet stayed nice and warm. They are very comfortable with no hot spots and the fit is very true.

The lacing pattern seemed excessive - and tedious to tighten or adjust. The boots were returned immediately.

Pretty rugged feeling too. I agree the lacing is the worst concept I have ever seen. Doesn't seem to get boots as tight as I like but still worth the $.

The lacing hook pulled out the second time I laced the boots up. Grommet sheared off.

There are little hooks (the normal ones at the top of the boot) down lower below regular eyelets (right term?) not sure the point of this feature, kind of a pain to get laced up. Top of boot is super flimsy too so you can't just step into them, have to almost pull them on like a sock. Minor complaints, great boot for the STP price I paid. Seem durable and waterproof.

However, they appear to run narrow. I even ordered a whole size up because my foot is a bit wider, but still could not wear the boots comfortably. They appear to be a very nice product and I would have loved to keep them had they fit, however, I had to return them and try something else
