I didn't see the slice in my boot until yesterday when I was at work.

I'm going to buy silicone sealant and repair then myself before wearing but I want happy. I also bought the noon leather version of this same boot and they were perfect. Quality on the noon leather pair surpassed these leather ones.

I was amazed at how great the Kamik boots are. Wore them on a snowshoe tour above Paradise on Mt. Rainier last week-end. My feet were comfortable, warm, and dry. What more could you ask for? I certainly would recommend them.

Had to go with a men's size as I take a women's 12 which is very difficult to find. The reviews were spot on re this boot running a little narrow and short; for that reason, I ordered a men's 12 and all is well...for now. My trip way north is next month! I appreciate the price...doubt this item will be utilized on a consistent basis. The boots are a good weight and are flexible; I don't feel like Frankenstein walking in them which is great because maneuvering in snow and on ice is going to be comical enough!
