More stylish than picturedVerified Buyer Reviewed by jbk from Hood River, Or on Tuesday, September 6, 2016I wasn't sure I'd like this nightgown, but since I'm usually pleased with Calida sleepwear, I decided to give it a try. It looks surprisingly nicer on than I thought it would , and the length is just what I was looking for. I can wear it as is on hot summer evenings or pair it with a light top when it gets cooler. Perfect. Sized as all Calida clothing is for me - xs for 5'6", 110 lbs.

I sweat less often in bed now, and when I do, it pulls the sweat away from me instead of getting soggy. The open arm holes and medium-low neck also help. The color is fun, and the piping around the edges is so thin that I don't feel it.
I thought it would be too long on me since I'm only 5'3", but it ends up being shorter once I lie down. Even where it bunches up, it is light and comfortable! I did test the hem with a little snip to see if it would unravel, in case I needed to shorten it. This fabric seems stable, like it would not fray at all, if you decide to trim it and not re-hem it.
I wear a US 12-14, and the size M is nice and loose on me. -

The material is soft, silky and, again, very lightweight. I got worried that it shrunk a little bit after washing, but then it, sort of, stretched back to its size. I am between M and L sizes, and buy M from Calida. The similar nightshirt from a couple years ago had a little pleat at the front thus providing a little more movement to the shirt. This one doesn't have any pleats - the front is plain. But it feels comfy nevertheless.
