Although I'm short, 5'3", the gathered waist is in the right position, as it is on the photo.
I will get a lot of use out of these, summer and winter. I wish it came in white, too. -

The fit is a bit loose, but the waistband has a draw-cord to tighten it. It's a nice long length for me (5'10").
