5.0 out of 5 stars. Brand newReviewed by Anonymous from Fayetteville, Arkansas, U. S. A. on Friday, March 25, 2016The knifed arrived from STP well packaged.. The knife was sealed in plastic with a plastic cover over the tip of the blade.
my first impression this is a well made tactical knife. the tanto design insures initial penetration is sure. The edge of the blade is very sharp. The release is very quick an sure. The clip is mounted securely and this lightweight piston lock stays securely whoever one chooses to mount or affix it. The handle provides a textured surface so one's hand does not slip up on the blade. The top of the blade by the handles has grooves cut into it giving one a better grip if cheating up on the blade. CAVEAT: I have extra large hands so the handles of the knife do not fill my hand up. I like a fuller grip but this will work with small adjustment.
The line cutter is a nice thought. There is a safety that prevents errant opening of the blade when it is riding in your jeans pocket. One would not want that to occur at any time!
The knife is lightweight and I hardly notice it. For the professional using this a last ditch weapon, the blade is sturdily attached and locks into position very well. If one using this blade under dire conditions remembers the design is for penetration.
