I have several pairs of Dansko clogs that are either slightly big (41) or slightly small (40). Since there are no half-sizes, I had hoped Sanitas might have a better fit as other reviews claim they fit smaller than Danskos (true!) This shoe is rounded where it fits the heel (as opposed to straight up and loose fitting). The heel is a little higher and narrower than my Dansko clogs. It's a nice-looking clog and the STP price was too good to pass up--but I ended up sending these back. They didn't fit any better than my Danskos and I didn't want a higher, narrower heel.

I have never had any of these before. I bought this one and Dansko. I have narrow feet but high arch, very bad combinations. The Dansko pair feels very wide and my feet can turn in them. The Sanita pair is perfect for me, and the insole also provides the arch support that the Dansko pair does not. I am returning the Dansko and buy another pair of this in different color. I am a size 8, and I order 39.

I've had two other pairs of Sanita clogs and loved them, but this pair of 39s was tight even without wearing socks. Hope that my replacement pair fits! If so, these will be an ideal comfortable and casual shoe for work, where I'm on my feet all day.

It's a separate piece and for any reason it would break off the shoe would be useless to me since it was going to be a work shoe. Also this was odd the right shoe squeaked as I walked around the house. Not bulky for a clog shoe which was appealing.

Let it be known that I have a flat narrow foot and the fit as if custom made. Someone with a high instep may have trouble with them. The footnotes is super cushioning and I had no trouble wearing these all day straight out of the box.
