Based on the description of "relaxed", I initially ordered an xs because I most often wear a size small and I didn't want them too baggy. XS was really, really tight. I returned for a M, which is pretty relaxed. Too much bother to return them again so I kept the M and it's a little baggy. Still comfy but a little frumpy-looking. I'm 135 lbs and 5-7. Usually wear a size 2 or 4 in Loft brand, for comparison if that helps, or XS or S in Toad and other brands like it. They're really cute, though. I like the drawstring on the leg to add a little interest.

Light Weight, Casual Pants With Fun StyleVerified Buyer Reviewed by DanceFaery from San Francisco Bay Area on Monday, June 6, 2016These pants are not dramatically relaxed, and the micro fabric is thin and very stretchy, with a 3.5" wide, ribbed cuff that comfortably pulls up to just below the knee, in a sort of baseball pant style. The fabric isn't very forgiving, so If you don't have toned legs, you may want to order them a size larger. They are comfortable, opaque, light weight, and perfect for backpacking, yoga, dance class, lounging about, or running errands around town. They say Reebok in a 2" logo down the left thigh, just below the pocket, so that keeps them from being able to be "dressed up." I'm 5'7" and a muscular 150#, and the size Mediums comfortably on my athletic legs!

The drawstring is too stretchy and has to be tightly tied repeatedly. They are the kind of pants you'll hang out in whenever you can.

Although with that said, I'm more of a curvy fit. I wear a 12 and ordered the large which said 12-14, but it's a bit more snug than I'd prefer when listed as "a looser fit". I will still keep it though. They will be great for the summer as they are very lite and comfy.
