5.0 out of 5 stars. These skis do it all!
Reviewed by Skier mom from Utah on Tuesday, January 3, 2017
I never write reviews, but just had to because I am so happy with these skis! They are so much lighter than my old skis, and seem to do it all! Haven't had them in deep powder yet, but they handled a foot of Utah powder, as well as crud, hard pack, and bumps with no problem. Surprisingly stable at speed. Look good with the matching Tyrolia Attack binding I bought, as long as you are okay with the mint green color (my family thought it was the ugliest thing they have ever seen, but I don't mind it). I had actually bought a narrower ski as well, but returned them because the Great Joys are everything I need. I got the 163cm length, and I am an advanced skier at 5'6 1/2" and 125 lbs. Amazing price (last year's model) with additional 25% off of STP's already low price--thanks STP!

About Head

Ever since founder Howard Head developed the first laminated metal skis back in the 1950s, the Head sports equipment company has continued to innovate better and better products. From alpine skis to snowboards, tennis racquets to snorkeling gear, this brand is committed to producing the absolute best equipment in the world. Introduced in the late 1960s, Head tennis racquets were the first to feature aluminum frames, an innovation that quickly became an industry standard before carbon fiber and advanced fiberglass composites. Today, Head skis continue to be the choice of World Cup ski racers, and the company now offers a full line of Head snowboards for freestyle and all-mountain riders. Jump ahead of the curve and take your sport to the next level.
