1.0 out of 5 stars. Reminds me of a cricket batVerified Buyer Reviewed by Displaced Coloradan from Orange City, IA on Wednesday, January 11, 2017Forgot to notice the length of this tool. I found it heavy and unwieldy. It quickly found its way to the thrift shop.

5.0 out of 5 stars. If it fits your geometry need it will be perfectVerified Buyer Reviewed by DutchBlue from The Woodlands, TX on Wednesday, June 22, 2016As with many kitchen misc tools it fits a specific array of needs - in this case for me a long narrow tool to scrape, mix, etc. i narrower spaces like jars, blenders and deep containers. I especially like that it is heat tolerant and comfy to hold.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very useful toolVerified Buyer Reviewed by Fractals rule! from Nevada on Sunday, April 24, 2016I used this to get mayo out of the bottom of the jar. It's thinner than a regular spatula so would be more efficient in any sized jar. I'm sure it would work for icing too.
It's longer than usual, so could be used to scrape down the sides of a tall pan while cooking spaghetti sauce or stew without disturbing the texture of the vegetables/meat.
It seems to have a metal rod down the center, so the silicon is molded around that rod. Therefore, it's stiff but more flexible at the end and along the edge where there is only silicone. It's also weightier than I expected but I find that is a plus! I think I'll find more uses for this tool as life goes on...
