5.0 out of 5 stars. Love, love, love

I ordered this jacket because I liked the color and the fact that it is insulated and water resistant, which is perfect for the crazy Idaho winters, and I'm honestly so in love with it! I ordered the bright red and the color is better in person in my opinion! I love that it has lots of pockets and it even has a special pocket for your Ipod/phone. I'm 5'2", about 115 lbs and I ordered a small. The fit is perfect for me but if you want more room for layering or just prefer a looser fit then I might say to go up a size.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Fit ??

Love the Sherpa lining, and the brown (tweed type) color... had great pockets, and extras and warmth rating I was looking for, but the fit was tight. 5'3 and 102 lbs and Xs small was tight across the chest and shoulders, and small was huge everywhere. Returned.

Nice warm light weight jacket. Only downfall I found with this jacket is it shows pockets at the top and more pockets below them, but they are false pockets. There is side pockets and two inside pockets. One of the inside pockets is great for your phone. Over all very nice jacket for the price and the love the color.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw 686 snowboarding gear for the price listed. 686 gear is usually quite pricey. I ordered a jacket with a pair of coordinating pants. I couldn’t be happier with the style, color, and quality. I’m 5’6; 135lbs and normally wear a S/M therefore, I ordered size M. The jacket fit just right, with plenty of room for layering. The sleeve length fits above my knuckles, which is what I prefer. I haven’t used my new gear yet, but will do so this weekend. I’m not concerned about it’s performance/functionality.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Just not that warm

I spent a long time researching & thought this was the coat for me. It’s nice looking & has pit zips. The hood is lined, making it warm, but not too thick to wear under a helmet. It took me the longest time to figure out how to tighten the hood. The cincher is at the back of the head. It only has three pockets, and I would like more. Also, the arms are too long. I am a normally-proportioned person. I’m 5’4” and 115 pounds. I ordered a small. The sleeves are just too long. You can push them up, but it’s not the right length. There’s also some extra bulk in the chest, but I am afraid an XS would be too tight. The most unfortunate aspect however, is that the coat just isn’t warm enough. I was outside with a long sleeve T, sweater, and this coat, and I was cold in 30° weather. Not freezing, but according to the heat rating, I should’ve been very toasty. I got this coat for winter time, for sub 20° weather. Since it can’t even handle 30°, I am sending it back. Disappointed.
