This jacket will work nicely for slim people in any size and tall and slim is best since sleeves are long. If you are not too busty the large may fit but it's small through the shoulders/bust. The quality is fantastic but the sleeves are very long for me, 5'2", so it is going back.

I wanted a shell for my down and nanopuff jackets. This worked perfectly! The sizing was spot on for layering and also worked as a travel jacket. The abundance of pockets was much appreciated, but alas, the powder skirt was not needed this trip. My only gripe would be the hood, wish it was removable!! Oversized to wear over a helmet... VERY oversized and not really functional without a helmet.

It repels melting snow and I can feel it wicking moisture out when I get overheated. The hood adjusts nicely so it doesn't flop in my face and I LOVE all the pockets and the color is beautiful. I have had several compliments whenever I wear it.

I am 5'6" tall and this jacket came to the top of my hip, so if you need a longer-waisted jacket, you might prefer something different. The color and construction were great.

On a cold day you'll need a substantial layer underneath, which will require sizing up. The only thing I would have added is a secured storm flap over the zipper. There is a narrow one on the inside.
