With the velcro tabs on the waist, there is a flexibility that other pants don't offer. They are a bit warmer than i wanted but I think they are too good to return. I got a size 10 which was just a bit too long for a 5'4 1/2 frame but they will work once i put the wki boots on. I haven't used them on the slope yet but can't wait.

I really like the soft inner lining, feels like it would be warm. Unfortunately, these pants do not run small as several reviewers led me to believe, and I ordered a M which was much too large (I'm 5'4" 130 lbs). My ski trip was just a few days later, so there wasn't time to exchange sizes, and I had to return these and wear my old pants. When I have more time (or when our new local STP store opens) I will try to find these in the correct size.

My boys have the same brand and love them, but I would not recommend these for women.
