Multiple tuning systems allow this helmet to fit a variety of heads for maximum versatility. The Thermostat ventilation system opens and closes the vents to let off steam when things heat up or dial it back when the wind starts blowing. This helmet fits GoPro® cameras, all Giro model goggles and aftermarket Giro audio systems.

The size range on the small is a bit optimistic for the upper end. If you need a size near the upper end of Giro's size chart for the small, I recommend that you get a medium. The MIPS is an excellent safety feature, and I'm glad we got helmets with it. 3 people in our household have the Giro 9 MIPs now. We love the quick adjustability of the helmet for adapting to wearing various balaclavas underneath, or none at all. The instantaneous vent adjustability is great. It's a comfortable helmet, and a lot of helmet for the money.
