This particular helmet runs small and I would need a medium even though my head size is small to normal.

Both claim to have the same sizing; however, this helmet was both shallower and tighter. I could not get it to sit low enough on my head to have the ear cuffs cover my ears! The Sheer fit extremely well. I give it a 5 for looks/function, but a 1 for fit, hence the overall 3. If you have a very small, short head, this may fit.

It is definitely light and adjusts easily for a good fit. I am a small woman but needed a size M to fit my head. I would prefer a rear goggle retention strap that snaps closed. And It does not have an integrated camera mount for a GoPro like some other Giro helmets. To attach my GoPro, I will need to use a vented helmet strap mount.
