I wore them traveling on planes, walking through market places and climbing the pyramids. They were the perfect fit for any excursion.

The sole is solid and heavy, the uppers lightweight which is what I was looking for. They rub the back of my ankle a bit but I'm guessing that will soften with wear.
I ordered my usual size and found them to be a bit snug, I am hoping they stretch a bit as suggested in other reviews. -

I ordered these in size 9 but they're too tight. I think the length would be OK if they were wider across the ball of the foot. I tend to have 'Birkenstock feet' so these cool looking shoes should fit better for someone with narrower feet. Really disappointed to be returning them. Minus one star for narrow fit.

The design prior to this one had the shoe inserts that would come out ever time you took the shoe off. This shoe has a memory foam insert that does not come out every time you take your shoe off. It's more comfortable than the other design. Also more affordable at this price versus $60 something.

I wore them for airline travel recently as they slip on and off easily but I never had to do that. I would have given 5 stars but after wearing them for almost 18 hours they felt a little tight at the ankle. Maybe that was just the sitting and travel doing that as when I'm home they are comfy during a normal day's wear. I bought them for crossing creeks and such this summer but they are so much more! Thanks STP!

My left foot is bigger than my right foot, and has a large bunion so I buy a full size up. Great to finally find a pair of closed toe sports shoes that I can wear pain-free.
